A new weekly tradition at This Digital is Wellness Wednesdays, where the team spend the morning before the working day doing activities such as yoga, and meditation and taking advantage of the many coffee shops in Chester.
Wellness Wednesday originally started as a hashtag to promote mindfulness, but it’s now turned into a global movement for self-care.
For us, we’ve seen a huge boost in morale and team spirit since dedicating a morning to wellness activities as it sets everyone up ready to smash the second half of the week.

Wellness Wednesday is just one way that we’re raising awareness for positive mental health in the workplace, even small things like taking time to enjoy a cup of tea or adding a plant to your desk can have a positive impact on your day-to-day wellbeing at work.
We also offer a free subscription to the Headspace For Work app for all employees, which offers mindful meditations and breathing exercises for both in and outside of work.
Focusing on employees’ mental and physical well-being has already shown a huge positive impact on the team.
